NTI Birmingham is launching a new two-day course that you might be interested in.

If you’re a graduate who’s currently or planning to be a broadcast freelancer and are looking to professionalise your career, then this course is perfect for you.

It's for aspiring broadcast freelancers who want to develop their knowledge, skills and career strategies at a course being held at Birmingham City University.

And the bonus; you’ll also be awarded 20 academic credits towards a Masters degree as part of Skillset’s UK-wide Build Your Own MA programme(

Covering a wide range of skills including how to network and make the most out of contacts, career planning, skill evaluation and how to adapt to different environments in a fast, ever-changing industry, You’re Hired! Professional Practice for Broadcast Media Freelancers is led and designed by leading industry experts.

Academic leader Caroline Officer said, “We are delighted to be offering this course. We feel we’ve got a strong framework and a core content that will allow people to stand out in this competitive industry.”

It’s also a great networking opportunity as students will get to know a range of people including legal experts and media accountants who they can continue to have a working relationship with after the module.
