FLIP International Animation Festival is back once more at Wolverhampton's Light House Media Centre from Thursday 27 to Saturday 29 October 2011, and is inviting animators from all around the world to submit films of up to 15 minutes in length.

An Insurance company have taken the unusual step of creating a competition for animators to animate their next corporate video.
Box Legal are inviting animators to create a short animated “humorous corporate video, roughly based on [their] example script.”
The best video will “receive a £1500 cash prize and the opportunity to work with Box Legal again in the future (at an agreed rate),” with the second prizes £500 and £50 respectively.
Videos will be judged on originality, substance and a clear message.
The deadline for entries is midnight, 31st July 2011.
